Wembley landmarks - the Arena and Square of Fame - will be switching off on Thursday, joining a long list of iconic London venues and monuments taking part in Lights Out London. Nick Shattock, Deputy CEO of Quintain Estates and Development, the owners of Wembley's landmarks, said yesterday: "We look forward to playing a part in creating awareness of a low carbon footprint for all. We aim to create a sustainable, zero-carbon Wembley and this campaign gives us the opportunity to show our commitment to that aim."
